As the days since the marathon pass and we try to return to some kind of normalcy here in Boston, one thing remains, the outpouring of support from all over the world.
It is unfortunate that it is usually in the wake of a tragedy and not simply in everyday life that we see this cascade of love. I was living in the suburbs of NYC during 9/11 and I noticed the same thing that we are seeing now. All of a sudden individuals weren’t such separate entities anymore. My hope is that these acts of evil will happen less and less and that the unity that comes after them will only continue to grow and stay strong, Boston Strong.
